When I was a kid, I love to sing and dance but unfortunately my parents doesn’t have time and money to support what I love to do, hence the talent I want to enhance did not go well.
As for my Little Zoie, I discover, as she is growing, she’s loving music. She loves to sing and dance, and mind you, the tune is there already. She knows how to tune up or down her pitch in certain parts of the song. And because of this every morning, after her usual morning TV shows at 8:30-9:30, we have one and a half hour of listening to music, singing and dancing along with our favorite songs. Sky is the limit! Lols!
To support her love of music, I’m already saving up for her 1st piano/keyboard (not exactly the image on the right) and her 1st dance lesson next summer. Hopefully, the ballet lessons is available next summer.
Also, I would like to share some inputs, from BabyCenter, on how to raise your child that loves music. Here are some simple tips:
- Sing songs to and with your child.
- Strike up the band.
- Play an assortment of music.
- Play “Finish That Tune.”
- Enroll in children’s music programs.
- Dance to the music.
We, me and Little Zoie, have done these tips except for ‘Finish That Tune’ (we’ll try this one next), and about the music programs, like what I’ve said, we’re preparing for it next summer.
As for her love of music, whatever it may be, playing musical instrument, joining singing contest or a musical play perhaps… I’ll give my 100% support every step of the way!
‘L♥ve you, baby!
