Software for DJs

Did you ever think of starting a career as a DJ?

Well, before I dreamed of being a VJ or a DJ on a radio… that was way before then.  I guessed that it is hard to learn it before because of big equipment the DJs are using but as you can see right now, computers is all you need to get started.

If you are starting, you get PCDJ Software guitar center which can be operated by a novice DJ, a beginner. It can mix audio and video files, or even karaoke files. It also has cool features such as improved video looping, no latency on playbacks, ulta-accurate automatic beat-mixing and more… in just a few clicks!

Back in the days, this kind of software is not out of the market yet but now everything’s automatic, I think people with the passion of mixing music, this can be your ‘guy‘.

Music In Wedding

Do you prefer to hire wedding djs to provide music entertainment to your guests or provide the music entertainments yourselves like karaoke?

A wedding reception is never complete without musical entertainment.  Whether you hire a wedding dj or simply rent a karaoke machine, both options are workable and good alternative to one another.  It wouldn’t be a memorable and fun wedding celebration if there are no music in the background, right?  How will the bride and groom and their guests enjoy themselves after a solemn exchanging of vows if there is no singing and dancing at the reception at all?

Just a question though, would you know any wedding traditions that don’t require music in their wedding reception?  Believe there is none.

Wedding singers or djs, or other means of providing music, for me is important.  Like for example on my wedding day, I asked hubby’s sister and his cousin to sing for us especially my favorite song, ‘The Gift’, while wearing our wedding rings.  Of course after that, they still need to sing a couple more songs aside from ‘The Gift’.  ^_^  And the rest are simply played in a music equipment provided by our wedding reception host.  Those are one of the wonderful memories on my wedding day.

Now that we are in the talk of wedding songs, I would like to share my list of wedding songs, somebody in my readers might need a list someday. ;-)

My Wedding Song List:

  • The Power of Love  -  Celine Dion
  • Endless Love  -  Diana Ross & Lionel Richie
  • I Do (Cherish You)  -  98 Degrees
  • On Bended Knee  -  Boyz II Men
  • I Will Always Love You  -  Whitney Houston
  • This I Promise You  -  NSync
  • Save The Best for Last  -  Vanessa Williams

I know I have lots but these are the songs that I remember.

Do you agree, do we need music in our wedding reception?  Of course, you do! ^_^

The Sound-Trippin’ Neighbor

I am not against people who love music, I love music too… What I don’t like is the habit of sound tripping loudly specifically during these time of the day: 7am, 1pm and 9pm, not being considerate to others.  Can’t they listen to their music starting 8am onwards until noon, and 4pm onwards until dinner time?

And when I say habit it is almost everyday!  Yes, I noticed that they have a new karaoke machine, which they use to sing along during wee hours at night, and maybe they have one of the best energy speakers in the market, but I don’t care.

They are being inconsiderate especially they are just a door beside us!  It’s not that we have a backyard in between these two apartments, but it doesn’t!  Sheesh, I’m ranting because they are really making it a habit.  Although, I can do what they are doing, still I choose to consider other people’s eardrums, especially the sleeping ones and needs rest.  I sure hope my ‘sound-tripping’ neighbor can consider other people too…
