A month from now, one of hubby’s nieces is turning 1-year-old and I’m already thinking of what to give to her. Now, I’m searching the web of any gift ideas for 1-year-olds, here are some of what I’ve got:
Noisemaker Toys. Babies and toddlers like noise and what they want is something that would get their ‘little’ attention. This noisemaker toys are not to scare them, making noise and scaring them are two are two different things. Examples of these toys are: tambourines, rattles, or musical toys.
Learning Toys. These toys can be a noisemaker as well, they can help develop the babies’ little minds. Examples are toys with numbers, colors and animal sounds, it is more helpful if these toys talks and makes sounds as well.
Blocks. Little ones likes to discover stuff and it will be their delight to stack up some blocks and build towers all by themselves. Building blocks are way to go!
Push Toys. This kind of toy will be a great help in honing your child’s skill of walking. You can find a child-sized grocery cart in this type of toy, Little Zoie has one. ;-)
Bath Toys. This toy will make bath time more fun, your little child can play with it while in their tubs and it can be an outlet to play pretend and enhance their ‘little’ imagination!
Books. One of my Little Zoie’s favorites, bright-pictured books can help stimulate their eyes and reading it to them can help stimulate their listening skills.
I guess this will do in helping me find the right kind of gift to the little one, don’t you think so?
Will be hunting for one of this toys in the next couple of weeks!
