eating cheese like candy

i say my little zoie loves cheese so much, just like her lolo (my dad).

she’s eating cheese alone and not with bread… she’ll just ask for a cheese, i’ll give her a pinch of cheese in a teaspoon and she’ll munch it like a candy!

so, i’ve searched the net for facts about what nutrients are we getting from cheese.  here it says:

Cheese is a concentrated dairy product made from milk curds, and has been consumed as part of the human diet for thousands of years.

As with milk, yogurt and all other dairy products, cheese naturally contains many nutrients including calcium, phosphorous, protein, fat soluble vitamins and B vitamins. -from the dairy council

a growing child needs to eat healthy foods and, may i say cheese is one of them.

it gives calcium, this is a mineral that helps build strong and healthy bones and teeth.

phosphorous, aids the calcium in developing healthy bones and teeth and it also helps in normalizing the tissue growth in our body.

protein, helps in building, maintaining and replacing tissues in our body.  my little zoie needs more protein to produce a lot of hemoglobin, she’s somewhat low in red blood cells.

fat soluble vitamins and b vitamins, these are vitamin a and b respectively.  of course, we all know that vitamin a is making our eyes healthy, and vitamin b is like an energy booster in your body that makes you go-go-go!

and with this nutrients, i’ll buy a box or two and let her eat all the cheese at her heart’s content!

Hard to Feed my 27-month-old Toddler…

are you, mommies out there, also experiencing this?  your toddler not eating properly at all???

my little zoie does.

before she turned two she has a hearty appetite… but right now, she’s barely eating a bite!
if i get lucky, she’ll eat 4 small spoonfuls of food.  the only food she likes to eat up to the last spoon is the instant mac & cheese by lucky me.

it’s not good if she’s going to eat it three times a day, everyday!  pastas, they say is made up of wax (so they say), so be thorough in washing it.

now that i’ve searched about it online, i’ve got some good inputs that i would like to try… like, giving my toddler any food that is rich in calories and more nutrients even taken up in just one bite.  i shared this with my hubby, and we decided to push through letting her eat her koko krunch cereal with a fresh milk.

and also, i checked some other tips too, click here.

even though i got some tips online, i would also like to ask for your inputs too… for those who experienced this toddler stage.  it would be greatly appreciated.

many thanks in advance!
