Gifts from Santa and Mom and Dad

Just like any kids during Christmas day, Little Zoie tries to be awake until midnight to see what gift will Santa give her this Christmas. So far Santa is granting all her wishes and she’s hoping that she’ll get what she asked for this time too. ^_^ She asked for a cash register gift.

Of course, our Santa wouldn’t want to be caught sending gifts to kids, right? So, Santa only knocked twice as midnight strikes on Dec. 25, laughed his usual ‘Ho-Ho’ and rushed off to go send more gifts to other kids. ^_^

The little girl was so happy when hubby opened the door and the gift was already outside!  Nice one, Santa!

As she was trying to open up the present, the excitement is very visible: her smile was contagious and her eyes are twinkling. I was smiling the whole time she was trying to open her Santa gift. ^_^

Of course, mom and dad will not let Santa get all the praises… haha. On the next day, it was time for me and hubby to give our ‘separate’ gift.  A doctor play set which has the same tools as her new favorite cartoon show in Disney Junior, Doc McStuffins!  She loves it!

She’s really enjoying her gifts and that’s just from us and ‘Santa’. Will be posting all the gifts she received this Christmas soon… ^_^

My Brave Girl

We went to Laguna for a little family reunion with the Ong family, my in-laws.  We rented a private pool for the weekend holiday, over night.  Everyone had fun especially my little kiddo, too bad she got no playmate her age.  Anyway, here’s the story.

Nobody was able to took a photo of what actually happened but let me say to you… Little Zoie did slide down on this high slide all by herself!!!  >_<

She’s a brave girl alright!  Even I can’t do it, I have fear of heights, you know. ;-p

One of her aunt, my sister-in-law, Tita CM, accompany her as she climb up the ladder of the slide.  But Little Zoie was all by herself when she sat down and got ready to slide, no worries because hubby was waiting at the foot of the slide.  As soon as Little Zoie took the slide, you can see that she’s not afraid at first, but when she reached the middle part of the slide, she went sliding down fast because it was slippery.  I noticed that her expression changed from happy and excited to scared.  Not to mention hubby just let her go down deep the water first before he got her and embraced her.  I was at the other end of the pool but I can hear her little sobs and telling her dad that he didn’t catch her soon.

Hubby told her that it was alright because he got her.  With a little more assurance that she’s okay and did a good, brave, job my Little Zoie was smiling again.  She was proud of herself!  Well, I am… I don’t have the guts to conquer my fear of heights and try different things.  As she was asked and teased to slide down again, because not all saw her do her little stunt especially her grandparents, she said, as hubby whispered to her ear, ‘later!’  ^_^

Want A Long Vacation

I’m wondering when can I pack a, I don’t have a jack georges briefcase but a big luggage bag for a long vacation out of the city?

I was planning three months ago, when I didn’t know that I’m pregnant, that if budget permits this November we will be visiting one of my provinces for less than a week with hubby and Little Zoie.  But now that we know I’m pregnant, we think it’s best and safe to not travel right now.  And of course, I need to get ready, financially, before this little one’s born, right?

Maybe after a year… ^_^
