Has your kid being eager learning how to play an instrument, or trying to learn anything about music?
That’s what I’m experiencing with my little Zoie recently. Too bad because I don’t have any slightest idea how to play any instrument! Actually it was my frustration to play a keyboard back in the day, that’s why ‘Santa’ gave her one.
Right now, her first musical interest is singing with a little keyboard-playing interest on the side, maybe in a few months time she’ll ask me to let her learn keyboards, then maybe in a few years she’ll have me buy one for her so she can learn how to play rock music. Haha. Well, that is still a maybe.
Of course, what ever she will want to pursue, music or arts or academics, whatever it is, I’ll make sure I have her back. I’ll be supportive with my kids with whatever talent they want to hone.
Anyway, have you seen any used trumpets for sale at MF they’re selling used instruments… You might want to check it out.
A field demonstration is a school program which all student levels participate. It is one big school day. Sports fest and all grade levels prepare dance presentations for this day. It is always celebrated during December, but since there was a storm falling in the city, they suspended the celebration and moved it on a most suitable date. And it was scheduled yesterday.
My Zoie was excited to show me her practiced dance moves for the presentation. It was supposed to be a family event for us, unfortunately, MIL needed hubby for an errand yesterday in which me and Zoie got a chance to join after her dance presentation.
The field demo’s theme is ‘Zumba’. The fun thing is the faculty also joined in the presentation by preparing their own Zumba dance before the kids started their own presentation. Of course, before everything started we need to have our own photo opp. Just picked a few photos to post, the rest are posted in FB.
Zoie with her classmates Ayesha (L) & Natalyn (R)
1st performance: She’s at the middle one, she got the moves.
I have a video of this dance, and since I am not really good at recording a video, there are lots of flaws and I am not proud to post it here. It will be for personal watching. Lols.
2nd performance: Look like she’s having fun dancing.
Look at those eyes… little chinita!
I’m so proud of her! She’s really coping up with this big school life!
‘Till her next field demonstration!
With all the busyness around the house, I realized I haven’t posted my dear Little Zoie’s grades on her 1st grading in the big school. So, here it is…
I’m so proud of her accomplishments, though I know she’s still adjusting to her ‘big school’ life. And not to mention the grade she got from the subject ‘Mother Tongue’ which is in our national language, Pilipino. She’s doing great if I may say. Haha, stage mom here. ^_^
Right now, I am currently anticipating her grades in her second quarter, also waiting for lightscribe cd r delivery, which is both to be released and delivered respectively next week.
A little agitated ’till I get to see the results.
