Do you prefer to hire wedding djs to provide music entertainment to your guests or provide the music entertainments yourselves like karaoke?
A wedding reception is never complete without musical entertainment. Whether you hire a wedding dj or simply rent a karaoke machine, both options are workable and good alternative to one another. It wouldn’t be a memorable and fun wedding celebration if there are no music in the background, right? How will the bride and groom and their guests enjoy themselves after a solemn exchanging of vows if there is no singing and dancing at the reception at all?
Just a question though, would you know any wedding traditions that don’t require music in their wedding reception? Believe there is none.
Wedding singers or djs, or other means of providing music, for me is important. Like for example on my wedding day, I asked hubby’s sister and his cousin to sing for us especially my favorite song, ‘The Gift’, while wearing our wedding rings. Of course after that, they still need to sing a couple more songs aside from ‘The Gift’. ^_^ And the rest are simply played in a music equipment provided by our wedding reception host. Those are one of the wonderful memories on my wedding day.
Now that we are in the talk of wedding songs, I would like to share my list of wedding songs, somebody in my readers might need a list someday.
My Wedding Song List:
- The Power of Love - Celine Dion
- Endless Love - Diana Ross & Lionel Richie
- I Do (Cherish You) - 98 Degrees
- On Bended Knee - Boyz II Men
- I Will Always Love You - Whitney Houston
- This I Promise You - NSync
- Save The Best for Last - Vanessa Williams
I know I have lots but these are the songs that I remember.
Do you agree, do we need music in our wedding reception? Of course, you do! ^_^
