Last Sunday was Little Zoie’s 4th birthday, my father, Zoie’s granddad, Lolo King, has invited us early last week to go fly a kite at Sunken Garden since we didn’t get the chance to fly it when my brother bought it for Zoie last Jan. 29 on our Tagaytay family day.
Sunken Garden is an open field right in front of the National Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City. No worries, everyone, almost everyone is going to that place to do sports (jogging, martial arts training, soccer and others). Back in high school, my alumni school made us perform on that same open field. ^_^
Anyway, the original plan was to go there at 6am in the morning. But that morning at 6, it was still dark and the birthday girl is still sleeping so we moved it at 7am. Since it is early morning, Lolo King decided to buy bread because we haven’t had breakfast yet. He was supposed to pack breakfast that morning but he didn’t have time to cook, since he still need to open their ‘sari-sari’ store. So when we got there, we looked for the spot where there is wind to fly Little Zoie’s pink kite. Since it is an open field, and somewhat a higher ground, wind is not that hard to find. Lolo King and Little Zoie has flown the kite almost instantly.

Up up and away kite!
Of course, it is not only Little Zoie will fly the kite… ^_^ the mom as well. It was my first time too, so I was excited and honestly, I’m having fun.

That’s my little sister and Lolo King
